Alcohol Withdrawal: Introduction

Symptoms experienced by individuals who have suddenly stopped drinking alcohol after a long history of excessive consumption. The symptoms range from mild (nervousness, fatigue) to severe (hallucinations, convulsions, fever). The higher the consumption of alcohol, the more likely the individual is to suffer from withdrawal symptoms.
