Angiosarcoma: Angiosarcomas are a relatively rare type of malignant tumors that develop from blood vessel tissues. The cancer tends to occur mainly in the liver, skin, breasts and deep soft tissues. The cancer is prone to metastasis to the lymphatic system and is considered aggressive. Symptoms will vary depending on the location of the tumor. Prognosis for Angiosarcoma: Poor - the cancer is aggressive and is usually not diagnosed until it is in the later stages. Also, this type of cancer responds poorly to most traditional treatment therapies. Some reports indicate that most patients survive 1-2 years from the onset of the angiosarcoma and up to a third of patients may live up to 5 years from the onset.
