Autoimmune Myocarditis
Autoimmune Myocarditis: Introduction
Inflammation of the heart muscle walls caused by an autoimmune disorder. An autoimmune disorder is a malfunction of the body's immune response causing it to attack itself. In autoimmune myoacrditis the body's own immune system attacks the heart muscle and can ultimately cause heart failure.
