Becker Muscular Dystrophy
Becker Muscular Dystrophy: Introduction
A genetic recessive disease that affects muscles.
Becker Muscular Dystrophy is a subtype of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
where the mutation-caused defect in the dystrophin gene is milder than the classic cases.
Hence, the dystrophin protein is less severely affected
and hence muscle weakness and degeneration is milder.
