Bile Duct Conditions: Introduction

Any of a number of conditions that may affect the bile duct. Bile ducts are tubes that carry bile from the liver to the gallbladder and from the gallbladder to the small intestine. A number of diseases can block these bile ducts and lead to problems such as jaundice. Cancers and gallstones are the main causes of bile duct blockages.
