Broken finger

Broken finger: Introduction

A break or fracture in a finger bone. Each finger is made up of three bones which are connected by knuckles. Breaks can occur in any of these bones. Because fingers perform such fine motor tasks, it is important that any fractures are evaluated and treated appropriately by a medical professional.
