Cartilage disorders: Introduction
Diseases or conditions that affect the cartilage. Cartilage is a tough but elastic connective tissue that has no nerves or blood vessels in it. Cartilage to damage is difficult to heal. Some disorders that can affect the cartilage are chondrocalcinosis, chondrodysplasia and chondromalacia.
