Coccyx injury

Coccyx injury: Introduction

An injury to the coccyx which is the final pointy portion of the backbone. It is also referred to as the tailbone and consists of 3 to 5 bone segments. The injury can result in bruising, dislocation or even fracture of the coccyx which can be very painful.
