Inheritance and Genetics of Connective tissue disorders
Connective tissue disorders: Genetics Information
Genetics of Connective tissue disorders:
Some skin and connective tissue diseases, are due strictly to genetic inheritance, while others do not have specific gene abnormalities as their sole cause. Many features of skin and connective tissue disorders overlap with each other, and with other disorders, even though they have unique genetic causes.

About inheritance and genetics:
Inheritance of Connective tissue disorders refers to whether the condition is inherited
from your parents or "runs" in families.
The level of inheritance of a condition depends
on how important genetics are to the disease.
Strongly genetic diseases are usually inherited,
partially genetic diseases are sometimes inherited,
and non-genetic diseases are not inherited.
