A neurological disorder where the peripheral nerves are damaged due to diabetes. The nerve damage can cause a number of symptoms including pain, loss of sensation and tingling. The feelings usually start in the peripheral areas such as the toes but may spread to the feet and hands..

Symptoms of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

• Mild symptoms - may take years to develop
• Paresthesias - abnormal sensations on the affected areas such as hand, fingers, feet and toes.
• Numbness in toes
• Pain in toes
• Tingling in toes
