A form of dermatitis that is caused by bacteria. It is an infectious skin disorder which occurs when handling meat or fish which is infected with the Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae bacteria. The bacteria can enter the skin through an abrasion or cut and causes a red, spreading inflammation.
