Fibrocystic breasts
Fibrocystic breasts: Introduction
Small non-cancerous, fluid filled lumps that occur in the female breast usually between the ages of 30 and 50. These lumps or cysts may be painful and can generally be felt by palpating the breast tissue. The condition is also known as cystic disease, mammary dysplasia and chronic cystic mastitis.
