Hypoglycemic attack

Hypoglycemic attack: Introduction

A condition that occurs when the blood glucose level suddenly becomes abnormally low. Low blood sugar can occur when excess glucose is removed from the blood by excessive levels of insulin or when not enough glucose is secreted into the blood such as in liver damage. A hypoglycemic attack can cause the patient to experience symptoms such as increased pulse rate, tachycardia, increased blood pressure, sweating and anxiety.
