  • It is characterized clinically by erythematous, succulent, edematous, nonscarring plaques in sun-exposed areas
  • Subtype of discoid lupus erythematosus characterized by purplish elevated tumour-like lesions often occurring on the face. The tissues are swollen, warm and tense with a reddish, mottled surface due to scarring.
