Meninges cancer: Introduction

A cancer that occurs in the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord (meninges). A meningioma is a tumour originating in the meninges. The meninges consist of three layers that protect the brain and spinal cord inside. Meningioma's are usually benign and slow-growing.
