Description of Ammonium nitrate

Ammonium nitrate: Used in making nitrous oxide gas (i.e. lauging gas), and in freezing mixtures, matches, and fertilizers; also used in veterinary medicine as a urinary acidifier, as an expectorant, and has diuretic activity.
