Description of Ariboflavinosis

Ariboflavinosis: A dietary deficiency of riboflavin (vitamin B2) resulting in visual disorders, seborrheic dermatitis and lesions on the corners of the mouth, lips and around the eyes and nose.

Ariboflavinosis: Properly termed hyporiboflavinosis: a nutritional condition produced by a deficiency of riboflavin in the diet, characterized by cheilosis and magenta tongue and usually associated with other manifestations of vitamin B deficiency.
