Bendroflumethiazide: A thiazide diuretic with actions and uses similar to those of HYDROCHLORTHIAZIDE. It has been used in the treatment of familial hyperkalemia, hypertension, edema, and urinary tract disorders. (From Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, 30th ed, p810)
