Description of Chronic histoplasmosis

Chronic histoplasmosis: disease usually seen in patients with underlying abnormal lung parenchyma, particularly emphysema and bullous lung disease. The disease is indolent, characterized by cough and sputum production, and radiographically by gradual loss of lung volume.
