CREB-Binding Protein: A member of the p300-CBP transcription factor family that was initially identified as a binding partner for CAMP RESPONSE ELEMENT-BINDING PROTEIN. Mutations in $CREB-$binding protein are associated with RUBINSTEIN-TAYBI SYNDROME.
