Description of Deciduoma

Deciduoma: An intrauterine mass of decidual tissue, probably the result of hyperplasia of decidual cells retained in the uterus. SYN: placentoma.

Deciduoma: An intrauterine mass containing decidual cells (DECIDUA) or with structures resembling the PLACENTA. Deciduomas usually are induced experimentally.
