Hand-Schüller-Christian disease: the chronic disseminated form of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. The classic triad of signs consists of diabetes insipidus, exophthalmos, and bony lesions composed of histiocytes. SYN: Christian disease (1), Christian syndrome, normal cholesteremic xanthomatosis, Schüller disease, Schüller syndrome.
