Introduction: Radiodermatitis

Description of Radiodermatitis

Radiodermatitis: Skin inflammation caused by exposure to ionizing radiation resulting in dry, hairless, colorless and atrophied skin.

Radiodermatitis: Dermatitis due to exposure to x-rays or gamma rays causing ionization of tissue water with acute changes resembling thermal injury.
