Ribonucleotide reductase: a protein complex that converts ribonucleotide diphosphates (NDPs) such as ADP and CDP to 2'-deoxyribonucleotide diphosphates (dNDPs) such as dADP and dCDP. This complex requires thioredoxin, thioredoxin reductase, and NADPH. It is crucial for DNA synthesis.
