Description of Somatrem

Somatrem: N-l-Methionyl growth hormone (human); a purified polypeptide hormone, made by recombinant DNA techniques, which contains the identical sequence of 191 amino acids constituting naturally occurring somatotropin, plus an additional amino acid, methionine; used in long-term treatment of children deficient in somatotropin.
