Virgin rape

Introduction: Virgin rape

Description of Virgin rape

Virgin rape: rape of someone believed to be virginal, often a person with a disability that renders the victim unable to offer normal resistance, in the belief that such an act can free the perpetrator of a venereal disease, usually HIV/AIDS. The basis of this belief was extended to earlier diseases, known as virgin cleansing, extends back to Europe in the sixteenth century.
