A young man was taken to hospital following a serious vehicle accident. He lost consciousness and eventually died. It was only during the post mortem after his death that 18 broken bones were discovered. The boys parents allege they had been told that x-rays had been done and there were no broken bones. The family received and undisclosed amount of damages even though doctors claim that the boy would have died even if his broken bones had been discovered and treated.
