19 doctors fail to diagnose man’s oral cancer

A man saw 19 doctors before one finally correctly diagnosed him with oral cancer. He was initially told he had a throat infection and was given antibiotics. Early diagnosis would have greatly improved his chances of survival. He underwent surgery to remove his tongue and voice box. He is considering suing the hospital.
