A recent study release claims that nearly 60% of people in the US have blood pressure high enough to put them at risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems. This figure is made up of 27% with hypertension and 31% with prehypertension. The risk increased in African Americans, and people who were obese or over 60 years old.
