Diabetes threat quenched by alcohol

Regular alcohol consumption (1-3 standard drinks/week) reduces females' risk of developing diabetes in later years. Out of a study of more than 16,000 women, those who developed type 2 diabetes were less likely to consume alcohol or more likely to over consume alcohol.
