The Jung Tung Foundation is asking consumers to exercise caution when thinking about using diet drugs. It claims that many of the advertisements for the drugs make false claims. It emphasizes that no one drug can cause weight loss without adjustments to food intake and/or exercise. The Jung Tung Foundation wants products such as Leto and Mediterraneal blue-green algae boycotted. Other diet products who advertise deceptively are Flower Herbal Slim Tea, Nano Jasmine Diet Tea, Slimlife MC and Beautiful Sleepless Night among many others. Five elements of diet drugs should be examined before use: side effects, how long the food therapy takes, cost and weight loss maintenance ability. Only Reductil and Xenical are approved by the Department of Health but they are also prone to use and abuse. Reductil in particular may cause severe dehydration.
