A doctor accidentally conducted a hernia operation on a young boy but did it on the left side instead of the right. Thus he told the parents that there was no hernia and the boy was misdiagnosed. The boy was later operated on by another doctor to fix the hernia on the right side. The doctor was found guilty of 'gross negligence' and his license reprimanded.
