Promiscuity linked to prostate cancer

27,000 men will be diagnosed in Britain each year and 10,000 will die. A new study has found that promiscuity in their younger years could increase their risk of developing prostate cancer when they get older. This is because they are more likely to be exposed to the human papilloma virus which may which makes individuals more prone to prostate cancer later in life. This finding may explain the rapid rise in incidence of prostate cancer. HPV has already been linked to cervical cancer in women.
