A man was looking for compensation after allegedly suffering Salmonella poisoning, which resulted in a hospital stay lasting 4 days secondary to dehydration after dining at a restaurant. Other cases of Salmonella poisoning were also attributed to the restaurant, symptoms of which include vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains, and fevers that begin 12-72 hours after consumption of infected food, but do not normally require hospitalization.
