Undiagnosed endometriosis misdiagnosed as depression results in hysterectomy

A woman suffering unidentifiable pain was initially diagnosed as depression. Subsequent tranquiliser medication was detrimental to her health. She was eventually diagnosed as having endometriosis by which stage she required a hysterectomy at the age of 27.
