Woman with lung cancer misdiagnosed with pneumonia and bronchitis

A woman was diagnosed with bronchitis and pneumonia after complaining about aches in her chest. Several months later she learned that she had been misdiagnosed and she actually had a small-cell lung cancer in her right lung which had spread to a lymph node. She was given a 50% chance of survival. She was set back because of a time delay due to the misdiagnosis and a bad reaction to chemotherapy.
