Colonoscopy screening for bowel cancer affective
Bowel cancer screening via colonoscopy has been researched on
individuals with a family history of bowel cancer and found to
prevent the development of cancer in 80% of the participants. Bowel
cancer is the second most prevalent form of cancer and the general
population is advised to be screened once every 5 years after turning
45 as well as maintaining a diet high in fibre.

Parents want answers for dead children
A 17 year old girl's parents are seeking answers after she was
misdiagnosed with a streptococcal throat infection when she was
suffering from mononucleosis, a disease that took her life. Another
parent is also outraged by the failure of a doctor to act on her
concern for her baby daughter when she was vomiting, weak and
irritable - she later died of a brain hemorrhage.
