Accessory Digestive Organs: The accessory digestive organs are a group of organs that work with the organs in the alimentary canal to digest food. The accessory digestive organs in the mouth include the teeth and tongue. The other accessory digestive organs include the salivary glands, liver, gall bladder and pancreas, which are all connected to the alimentary canal by ducts.
