Adductor Brevis: The adductor brevis is one of the medial thigh muscles, a group of muscles that make up the medial section or inner area of the thigh. The adductor brevis originates on the pubis of the bony pelvis and inserts on the femur. The adductor brevis has a variety of functions, including adduction, flexion and medical rotation of the hip.

Conditions that can afflict adductor brevis include strains, tears, cancer, myopathy, atrophy, infectious myositis, paralysis, neuromuscular diseases, lacerations and contusions.
