Adductor Magnus: The adductor magnus is one of the medial thigh muscles, a group of muscles that make up the medial section or inner area of the thigh. The adductor magnus originates on the bony pelvis and inserts on the femur. The adductor magnus has a variety of functions, including adduction, flexion and extension of the hip.
