Spinal Nerves of the Cervical Region: Spinal nerves of the cervical region are nerves that emerge from the spinal cord through the cervical vertebrae. Spinal nerves of the cervical region are named C1 through C8 have many functions, including innervations of the neck shoulders, arms, hands and back of the head. Spinal nerves of the cervical region form the cervical plexus and the brachial plexus.
