Introduction: Paraphilias
Sexual disorders where the patient has sexual urges that are not socially acceptable such as sexual arousal involving non-consenting partners, partners who are suffering or being humiliated (simulated or real) or through the use of an object. Pedophilia, fetishism and sexual sadism are examples of paraphilia.
Symptoms of Paraphilias
- Increased sexual urges
- Inappropriate sexual behaviour
