Sports Injuries

Introduction: Sports Injuries

Any injury resulting from playing a sport. The injury can be of a sudden traumatic nature such as a broken leg or can be the result of repetitive minor injuries such as tendonitis. There is a huge range of injuries that can occur and all parts of the body are capable of being involved in a sporting injury. Swimmer's ear, dehydration, angina, and shoulder pain are just some of the many examples. Approximately 1 million people are injured in the US each year while playing sport. Obviously some sports are more injury prone than others.
