Sticky eye

Sticky eye: Introduction

A thick yellowish discharge from the eye usually as a result of a blocked tear duct which leads to infection. This condition is very common in babies during their first few months. The condition can also be caused by sexually transmitted infections during childbirth or may be associated with a common cold or conjunctivitis.
