- Past medical history? - e.g. diabetes, obesity, AIDS, Sjogren's syndrome, Severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, polyendocrine deficiency syndrome type 1, bone marrow transplant can predispose to penile Candida infections; erythema multiforme may follow infection with either herpes simplex or mycoplasma.
