Vitamin B12 deficiency under-diagnosed: The condition of Vitamin B12 deficiency is a possible misdiagnosis of various conditions, such as multiple sclerosis (see symptoms of multiple sclerosis). See symptoms of Vitamin B12 deficiency or misdiagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

Infectious Diarrhoea related to Gullain Barre syndrome: Gullain Barre syndrome (GBS) is a demyelinating syndrome involving the peripheral nerves system. It is the most common form of post infective polyneuropathy that occurs in acute status. In rare instances, the organism Campylobacter jejuni is known to cause Gullain Barre syndrome. Campylobacter jejuni is the main organism responsible for infectious type of diarrhoea. These infecting organisms trigger the humoral immune responses to peripheral nerves, which in turn leads to GBS. The diagnosis of GBS is mainly on the clinical grounds and is usually confirmed by nerve conduction studies.
