  • Abortion: The loss of an intrauterine pregnancy prior to viability of the fetus.
  • Acute Appendicitis: Infection of the appendix
  • Adenocarcinoma, Clear Cell: A type of cancer that occurs mainly in the genitourinary tract and the cells that make up the tumor are clear. It is very rare and most cases occur in females whose mothers used a drug called DES (synthetic estrogen) while pregnant.
  • Adenosarcoma of the uterus: A tumor that develops from the glands that line the uterus.
  • Adnexal tenderness: Tenderness of the appendages or secondary structures of the uterus.
  • Allen-Masters syndrome: Damage to muscle layers in the pelvis which allows the abnormally increased movement of the cervix. It often occurs after a traumatic surgical birth, induced abortion or excessive vaginal packing.
  • Appendiceal tumor: A tumor of the appendix. The condition is often misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis. The cancer usually metastasizes from other sites and rarely starts in the appendix.

  • Arthritis-related enthesitis: Inflammation of the entheses due to arthritis. The enthuses is the site at which the tendon or ligament attaches to the bone.
  • Autoimmune Endometriosis: An endometriosis that is caused by an autoimmune reaction
  • Autoimmune oophoritis: An autoimmune condition where the body's own immune system attacks the ovaries and causes them to become inflamed. It can lead to ovarian function stopping prematurely.
  • Axial osteosclerosis: A rare bone abnormality involving patches of increased bone density which tend to occur in the spine, pelvis and the ball part of the hip joint.
  • Back tumour: The presence of tumour growth in the vertebra, whether due to primary malignancies e.g. leukaemic or myeloma infiltration of the bone marrow, or due to secondary metastases from another site e.g. lung or breast.

  • Diseases contagious from sex: Diseases that can be contracted through sexual contact
  • Distal colorectal cancer: Approximately 75% of colorectal cancers are sporadic and develop in people with no specific risk factors. The remaining 25% of cases occur in people with significant risk factors.
  • Diverticulitis: diverticulitis is inflammation of an abnormal pouch(diverticulum) in the intestinal wall. These pouches are usually found in the large intestine
  • Dysgerminoma: Rare malignant tumor of the ovary. Also called embryoma of the ovary or ovarian seminoma.
  • Dysmenorrhea: Excessive menstrual-like cramping pain
  • Dyspepsia: Imprecise term for indigestion or various digestive complaints
  • Ectopic pregnancy: The occurrence of a pregnancy outside that of the uterus
  • Endometrial Cancer: Cancer of the endometrium (uterus lining).

  • Endometrial stromal sarcoma: A rare type of cancer that develops from the endometrial layer of the uterus. The cancer may be slow-growing or aggressive and may metastasize.
  • Endometriosis: Misplaced uterus tissue causing scar tissue.
  • Ewing's sarcoma: Ewing's sarcoma is a malignant round-cell tumor. It is a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or in soft tissue. The most common areas in which it occurs are the pelvis, the femur, the humerus, and the ribs.
  • Fallopian tube conditions: Conditions that affect the fallopian tubes of a woman
  • False labour: The presence of pain that is similar to contraction pain in childbirth without uterine contraction

  • Fowler-Christmas-Chapple syndrome: A rare syndrome characterized by the association of polycystic ovaries with the abnormal functioning of the urinary valve.
  • Glassy cell carcinoma of the cervix: A rare type of cervical cancer.
  • Gonorrhea: Common sexually transmitted disease often without symptoms.
  • Groin symptoms: Symptoms affecting the groin
  • Gynaecological conditions: Any condition the affects the female reproductive organs
  • HIV/AIDS: HIV is a sexually transmitted virus and AIDS is the progressive immune failure that HIV causes.
  • Hamartomatous colorectal cancer: The hamartomatous polyposis syndromes are a heterogeneous group of disorders that share an autosomal-dominant pattern of inheritance and are characterized by hamartomatous polyps of the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Hepatitis: Any inflammation of the liver
  • Hereditary Leiomyomatosis and Renal Cell Cancer: A rare inherited condition characterized by the presence of tumors that develop from smooth muscle tissue in the skin, uterus and the kidneys. The skin anomalies can occur on any part of the body and gradually increase in number and size with age. Kidney tumors develop in only a relatively small proportion of patients with the condition.
  • Hernia: General term for an organ protruding where it should not.
  • Hip cancer: The presence of tumour growth in the bone of the hip, whether due to primary malignancies e.g. leukaemic or myeloma infiltration of the bone marrow, or due to secondary metastases from another site e.g. lung or breast; cancer affecting bone of hip likely to affect other bones e.g. vertebra, ribs
  • Hip symptoms: Symptoms affecting the hip joint.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease: Any type of digestive condition caused by bowel inflammation.
  • Inflammatory pelvic pain: Inflammatory pelvic pain can be chr, cyclic,non cyclic, localized of generalized, or a combination. It affects women of reproductive age and older. It's important to note that sudden, severe pain with mass indicates a serious disorder such as an ectopic pregnancy, and it also requires immediate evaluation and treatment.
  • Interstitial cystitis: A rare condition involving inflammatory disease of the bladder which progresses slowly.
  • Irritable bowel syndrome: A chronic non inflammatory disease with a psychophysiologic basis
  • Kidney conditions: Any condition affecting the kidney organs.
  • Lyme disease: Lyme disease is an emerging infectious disease caused by at least three species of bacteria belonging to the genus Borrelia.
  • Lymphocytic colitis: Inflammation of the colon which is only visible through a microscope.
  • Malignant mixed Mullerian tumor: A rare malignant cancer that develops in the uterus, ovary or fallopian tubes. The tumor contains epithelial and stromal cells. The cancer may be slow-growing or aggressive and may metastasize.
  • Menstrual cramps: Pelvic or other menstrual-related pains
  • Menstrual irregularities: Various abnormalities of periods and menstruation.

  • Mifepristone - Teratogenic Agent: There is evidence to indicate that exposure to Mifepristone during pregnancy may have a teratogenic effect on the fetus. A teratogen is a substance that can cause birth defects. The likelihood and severity of defects may be affected by the level of exposure and the stage of pregnancy that the exposure occurred at.

  • Osteomyelitis: An infection that occurs in bone
  • Ovarian cancer: A condition which is characterized by a malignancy that is located in the ovary
  • Ovarian carcinosarcoma: A type of ovarian cancer.
  • Ovarian cyst: A cyst which is located in the ovary
  • Ovarian cysts: Cysts which are located in the ovaries
  • Ovarian epithelial cancer: Development of cancer in the tissue of the outer covering of the ovaries.
  • Ovarian remnant syndrome: A rare condition where ovarian tissue is left in the pelvic cavity following the removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes causes pelvic pain. The tissue that is left behind can form cysts which can enlarge and pull on nearby adhesions causing pain. Pain can also occur when remaining ovarian tissue produces hormones that stimulate endometriosis.

  • Paget's Disease: Breast carcinoma involving nipple and areola.

  • Pelvic lipomatosis: A rare disorder where benign fatty growths develop in the pelvic area. Mainly occurs in obese, hypertensive, black males during old age. The main symptoms of the disorder tend to be related to compression of various genitourinary organs by the abnormal mass.
