  • Gonionemus poisoning: Gonionemus is a type of hydrozoan jellyfish which can deliver a venomous sting. The sting can cause various combinations of skin, respiratory and joint and pain symptoms. In mild cases, only the skin is affected. Stings most often occur in the Northern hemisphere - especially Japanese and Russian waters.

  • Priapism: Sustained erection that lasts longer than 4 hours.

  • Pudendal nerve entrapment: A condition where a nerve in the pelvis (pudendal nerve) becomes trapped or compressed. The problem can arise due to such things as pregnancy, postsurgical scarring and trauma but may also occur due to a birth malformation. Bicycle riding can also result in the condition.
  • Pyelonephritis: Any inflammation of the kidney
  • Renal colic: Severe urinary system pain usually from a urinary stone
  • Renal nutcracker syndrome: A rare condition where the left renal vein becomes compressed between the abdominal aorta and the superior mesenteric artery. Symptoms usually don't become obvious until the third or fourth decade. The severity of the disorder is variable.
  • Semen allergy: An allergic reaction to the semen of a sexual partner. The reaction may be localized or systemic.

  • Sickle cell anemia: Sickle cell anemia is an inherited blood disorder characterized by red blood cells which are crescent-shaped rather than the normal doughnut shape. These abnormally shaped red blood cells are unable to function normally and tend to undergo premature destruction which leads to anemia. If the genetic defect which causes the condition is inherited from both parents the condition can be quite severe whereas if it is inherited from only one parent, often there are no symptoms. The abnormally shaped red blood cells can cause problems when they clump together and block blood vessels.

  • Uterine fibroids: Benign nodules in the uterus wall.
  • Uterine sarcoma: A rare type of cancer that occurs in the uterus or associated tissues. A sarcoma is a cancer that involves soft tissue and connective tissue such as bone, cartilage, fat, muscle and blood vessels.
  • Vagina cancer: Cancer of the vagina.

  • Vaginal Dryness: Lack of adequate vaginal lubrication.
  • Vaginal candidiasis: Fungal infection of the vagina, sometimes called thrush.

  • Vulvar vestibulitis syndrome: The inflammation of the opening of the vagina.
  • XK aprosencephaly: An extremely rare condition where the forebrain is absent as well as other abnormalities.
  • Yolk sack tumour: A germ cell tumour that is a proliferation of yolk sack endoderm
