Intravenous pyelogram: Intravenous pyelogram is a procedure using a lighted cystoscope to visualize the urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra) after injecting a contrast agent, or dye into the vein; the contrast agent is excreted and shows up throughout the urinary tract.
