Vitamin B deficiency



Vitamin B deficiency: Introduction

Insufficient vitamin B intake for normal functioning of the body. There are actually 8 different types of B vitamins: thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12) pantothenic acid and biotin. A vitamin B deficiency can involve any one of these types or a combination. As Vitamin B plays a role in many aspects of the body's functioning, deficiency can have a serious impact on overall health.
